RETO HELLAS
In 2001, a small group of volunteers from Reto a la Esperanza of Spain, launches its action on the infamous streets of Athens. In 2003, Reto Hellas - Challenge of Hope, legally established as a non-profit association and starts its multiple operations throughout Greece. Today it is located in Athens, Thessaloniki, Heraklion Crete and Chalkida.
ESTABLISHMENT
The creation of the international organization Reto, dates back to the end of May 1985 in Cantabria, Spain, where its founder, a man of Christian principals, began offering aid to drug addicts in the area. As this model of assistance was successful and the problem was widespread, centers began to be established throughout Spain and later in Russia, the Balkans, and throughout Europe. Today it has recognized detox centers around the world.
PURPOSE AND MEANS
Reto Hellas is a non-profit, charitable, humanitarian and public-spirited organization with a recognized NPID (No. 40830 / 12-11-2012). The main purpose of the association is to provide immediate and free, material, mental and cultural help, to the people that are living on the sidelines and especially to the drug addicts in the following ways:

Introduction to recognized detention centers in Spain, Italy and Cyprus.

Organized roofs in Athens, Thessaloniki and Heraklion Crete.

WHY
WE CAN HELP FREE;
Because of its self-funded nature of association. Reto Hellas is financially supported from the activities that develops itself in society and related with society, as well with donations of materials and food from various companies and non-profit organizations. Second-hand stores Reto, is the main source of income of the association. When a fellow citizen is no longer needed items that can be reused (furniture, decorations, electrical appliances, etc.) he call's us and receive them free of charge.
